Now hiring transit operators with a BZ licence, full time. Moving York Region since 1984, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Moving York Region since 1984.

Miller Transit operates and maintains York Region Transit buses across Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville: conventional routes, community buses and Viva rapid transit, every day of the year.

York Region owns the buses. We keep them running.

Under a long-term contract with the Regional Municipality of York, Miller Transit supplies everything it takes to run the service: drivers, dispatchers, route inspectors, mechanics and the garage itself.

The Region sets the routes, schedules and fares. We operate them to the Region’s standards, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Maintenance

Our full-service garage, staffed by licensed technicians, apprentices, lube technicians and cleaners, maintains and repairs the fleet.

Fare systems

We maintain the GFI fareboxes, move fare revenue into a secure vault and report on it to the Region.
